Las Vegas Nevada, October 21, 2005 - Sylvester Stallone would be proud. In the first annual Rocky Awards handed out at the annual MIA Awards Luncheon, Tom McNall of Great Northern Stone walked to the front of the banquet hall and accepted the first ever "Rocky" for a 30 second radio commercial.
The cave man themed "Og Loves Stone" was warmly received by all. Tom McNall was quoted as saying "  It is an honour to be awarded this plaque and to be recognised by the highly respected judges that are in the advertising business. I have seen the work they do, so to be complimented by them means a lot. Thank you. It will now grace the office walls in Exeter Ontario. Way to go Og!" |
